14 November 2006 Using a free internet connection service, Tomas Hirsch of London Metals Limited was able to trade product with a supplier in Mexico, selling onto a customer in China. The contracts were recorded remotely into KitTM with all associated documentation prepared and forwarded from London to the counterparties involved. Advances in communications and mobile technologies make this everyday business transactions common place. What is remarkable about this deal was that it was contracted whilst flying from Frankfurt to Mexico City at 37,000 feet! |
